MARTINE LAMBERT ice cream and sorbets: What a story!

The story begins like a MARTINE comic book entitled "Martine plays ice cream vendor."

His father, a cider maker in Pont l'Evêque, taught him the importance of raw materials, varieties, and ripeness. Fruit has been his world since childhood.

The heatwave and the failure of THE ICE CREAM MAKER encourage people to make "homemade" products in a house where the ice cream maker is installed in the bathroom, in place of the bidet, thus taking advantage of the plumbing (water supply and drainage).

Our values

Our values

As the years go by, experiences, reading, encounters, and travels shape expertise that serves two ongoing objectives:

Practicing a profession that involves food. This consists of providing pleasure and health in a kind of permanent motherhood.
Practicing a profession that involves passion. Searching for the best fruits, experiencing the changing seasons... in both hemispheres.

  1. Spring

In March, Brazilian Maracujas (a variety of passion fruit).

    In April, pomegranates and soursop.

In May, Pennedepie rhubarb and the first Mara des Bois strawberries.

  2. Summer

    In June, Périgord raspberries.

  3. Autumn

In September, wild blackberries from our hedgerows are picked by our brave and loyal retirees.

In October and November, Comice pears adorn Christmas logs.

In December, finally, lemons from the French Riviera.

  4. Winter

Dried or fermented fruits, coffee direct from the PIHA roaster in Bordeaux, hazelnuts, almonds, vanilla from Madagascar or Tahiti for their respective recipes, angelica from Niort, and Valrhona chocolate complete the picture of our precious raw materials.
In order to control sugar and fat content, we produce coffee extracts, pralines, and candied fruit.
The raw milk, cream, and yogurt come from the farm, and we separate the eggs using our own machine.
In our recipe, you will find no texturing agents, no stabilizers, little fat and sugar, but high standards and strict storage conditions at very low temperatures.
Flavor, Health, Simplicity: that is our choice, as long as there are terroirs, climates, and farmers.
